H1N1 Information

The Bear River Health Department is working with Box Elder School District to give the H1N1 influenza vaccine to children at school. There will be no cost to you for this vaccine. The H1N1 vaccination is not mandatory. The signed Parental Consent form should be returned to the student's first hour teacher before November 4. Vaccination will not be given to your child without a completed and signed form.

  • Shots will be given on Tuesday, November 24th from 8:00 to 11:00.  (changed from the 11th)
  • All BEMS students and staff will be included
  • Shots will not be available for anyone other than BEMS Students and Staff

A new driver’s education class is starting up.  It is for students who will be 16 by September 1, 2010 – NO EXCEPTIONS!  Registration forms may be picked up in the office.

AUDITIONS for the Middle School Musical “OLIVER”. Nothing works on the stage like a well-crated tale, and OLIVER is just such a show.  Based on the Charles Dickens novel, it will engage everyone who is involved with delightful musical numbers that everyone can sing. “I’d Do Anything”, “Where Is Love?”, “Consider Yourself”, “Food, Glorious Food”, and “As Long As He Needs Me” are musical theatre classics.  Dickens’s characters are brought to life.

Auditions with be on December 17 and 18 at 2:45 PM in the Choir room.  Please bring a song from a musical.  An accompanist will be provided as well as a tape player if one’s accompaniment is on tape.

Do you need help with your grades? Were mid-terms low? STINGER ACADEMY will meet Monday - Thursday 2:35 - 3:35 in the library.

Students please check the lost and found box located in the office if you are missing any items. All items will be taken to the DI on Wednesday…Nov 25.
